The Natural World
Cumberland Harbour offers so many ways to relax. The subtropical climate is gentle and soothing, with pleasant sea breezes. Cumberland Harbour is a porch front community, with rocking chairs and porch swings, making unwinding a part of daily life. The forests of saw palmetto, long leaf pine and live-oak, open grassland, vast salt marshes, rivers, ponds and lakes are all a part of the natural environment. Migrating birds, including Ibis, Rosette Spoonbill and Woodstorks make annual migrations to Cumberland Harbour, as well as Painted Tanagers and Yellow Warblers. Hummingbirds, deer, tree frogs, monarch butterflies and many other animals also call Cumberland Harbour home.
